Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Lindsay Firehouse Subs. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Train staff in customer service and quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Standing for extended periods and physically demanding work.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus, flexibility, and team player attitude.
