Job Title: OTR Tire Technician

Join Kal Tire, a leading provider of mining tire services, as an OTR Tire Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tire service on customer equipment, adhering to Kal Tire's high standards.
  • Assist mine maintenance staff as required, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on tools and equipment, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of tire inspections and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to after-hours call-outs, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving excellence in all aspects of our operations.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience in a related field, with direct experience as a tire fitter preferred.
  • OTR service training and certifications desired, with basic tire fitting skills - Tire Fitter Levels 1 & 2 preferred.
  • Experience operating and maintaining tire manipulators, forklifts, and service trucks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
