**Job Summary:**

As a Personal Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

**Essential Functions:**

  • Personal Care: Provide assistance with dressing, grooming, shaving, hygiene, ambulation, and safe use of equipment and assistive devices.
  • Companion/Sitter: Offer companionship and respite services to help clients maintain their independence and overall well-being.

**Qualifications/Educational Requirements:**

  • High school graduate or equivalent certificate.
  • Successful completion of a Provincial-approved Personal Support Worker, Certified Nurse Aide, or Health Care Aide course is an asset.
  • Meet passing criteria on PSW skills test and DEARS test (Drugs and Ethics test).
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to adequate transportation for the job.
