Job Description

This role involves designing HVAC equipment as an industrial drafter. You will work closely with the Director of Engineering and collaborate with other departments to improve and automate systems.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, creating engineering drawings, participating in 3D model automation projects, and interacting with production and sales teams.

You will also attend meetings with customers and suppliers as needed and validate drawings conform to industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possess a diploma in a relevant field such as industrial design or building systems
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation & air conditioning (an asset)
• Excellent understanding of AutoCAD and Inventor or equivalent
• Experience with iLogic from Autodesk (an asset)
• Computer knowledge in MS Office Suite
• Experience in sheet metal and piping fabrication and design
• Attention to detail and high-quality work ethic
• Creative problem-solving skills and eagerness for learning
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated with strong time-management skills and ability to learn new skills
