Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to operate our buses, ensuring the safe transportation of students across various routes.
About the RoleIn this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for transporting students between school locations, adhering to strict schedules and safety protocols. Our ideal candidate is a team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly with passengers and dispatchers, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities- Operate company-provided vehicles, including buses and streetcars, to transport students safely and efficiently
- Report any delays, mechanical issues, or accidents to management promptly
- Complete logbooks and reports accurately and on time
- Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other drivers using two-way radio systems
- Maintain control of student activities during travel to prevent distractions or behaviors that could compromise safety
- Holds a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
- Possesses a School Bus Endorsement
- Has previous experience in transportation or a related field
- Passes a Criminal Record Check, Driving Record Check, Medical Exam, and Vulnerable Sector Check
We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
