Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Grande Prairie. As a key member of our municipal engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, construction site inspections, and contract administration duties
  • Develop and review engineering design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines
Requirements
  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and eligibility for professional membership with APEGA
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in construction observation and contract administration
  • Working knowledge of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems
  • Proficiency in computer software for modeling and spreadsheet analysis
