  1. Care for children from toddler to pre-school age in a safe and healthy home environment.
  2. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a comfortable living space for the children.
  3. Develop activities such as games and outings for children to enhance their development and well-being.
  4. Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children, ensuring they eat well and stay healthy.
  5. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
  6. Work with parents to establish and maintain discipline methods and ensure consistency in childcare.
  7. Supervise and care for children at all times, maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  8. Organize and coordinate activities for children, including playtime, meals, and rest periods.
  9. Collaborate with parents to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
  10. Ensure the emotional well-being of children by providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance childcare skills and knowledge.

Work Environment: This role is based in an urban area, and public transportation is available. The work setting is in the employer's/client's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.

Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and/or equivalent experience. Will train. References and a criminal record check required.

Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, patience, and honesty.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, 30 hours per week. Work language: English.
