We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Homelife Construction Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Site Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams, including bricklayers, cement finishers, tilesetters, painters and decorators, floor covering installers, plasterers, drywall installers and finishers, fence erectors, and trades helpers.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production and other reports, estimating costs and materials, and requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and instruct individuals, including supervising workers and projects, and recruiting and hiring workers and carrying out related staffing actions.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards, and that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction-related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Mentorship: Opportunities for mentorship, coaching, and networking for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Work Environment: Permanent position with a reputable company, Homelife Construction Ltd.
