We are looking for a skilled Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Locator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of telecom installation projects in the Edmonton area.
About the Role:The HDD Locator will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including reading and interpreting drawings, executing field projects, and using the locating device throughout the duration of the drill shot. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of HDD locating experience, knowledge of underground utilities, and the ability to read and interpret plans and diagrams.
Key Requirements:- Experience working with Ditch Witch / Subsite equipment;
- Ability to work in varied weather conditions;
- Strong manual dexterity and hand eye coordination;
- Safe working practices and adherence to company HSE procedures;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
