Store Operations Manager

- Duties:
- Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring efficient performance and high-quality customer service.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily store operations, including staff assignments and merchandise management.
- Manage staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team performance.
- Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in the store, considering customer demand and market trends.
- Implement price and credit policies, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the store and attract customers.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring financial performance meets company expectations.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and staff conflicts.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, ensuring a skilled and dedicated team.
- Conduct performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Work Environment:
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent interactions with customers, staff, and management.
- Handle heavy loads and work at a rapid pace to meet store demands.
- Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Combine sitting, standing, and walking to perform daily tasks.

- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail or convenience store environment.
- Degree in Business or related field an asset.
- Fluency in English required.
- Availability to work 35 hours per week.
