About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Intermediate Realty Underwriter to join our team at HUB International Canada West ULC (Canada West). As an underwriter, you will play a critical role in administering our in-house residential realty program in Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite small and medium-sized Strata accounts, ensuring compliance with program guidelines and market standards.
  • Communicate effectively with our sales teams to ensure seamless underwriting processes.
  • Identify and secure capacity for renewals, leveraging your knowledge of the market and industry trends.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the team's objectives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in underwriting, preferably in a commercial or residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Policy Works and Epic.
  • A Level 2 Insurance License is preferred, but consideration will be given to candidates working towards their licensing.
