Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at DCT Chambers Trucking Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer unit, transporting goods across the country, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer unit, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Transport goods across the country, following designated routes and schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • 2 years of experience in the trucking industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
