Join Our Team as a Line Cook at Tavern on the Green & Hillside Events

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Tavern on the Green & Hillside Events, located at Ledgeview Golf Club in Abbotsford. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards, working closely with our culinary team to maintain a high level of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items to specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to JRG Safe Food Handling practices and local health protection standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and culinary team to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Participate in daily cleaning and maintenance to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Set and restock food service stations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain a respectful workplace, adhering to organizational Policies and Procedures.
Working Conditions:
  • Hours and shifts may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work is performed in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen and office environment.

Valid Food Safe Level 1 * Occupational First Aid Level 1 considered an asset * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment * Previous experience in a professional kitchen holding roles such as Line Cook, Prep Cook, Chef, Cook or other applicable culinary experience.
