Baker Job Description

Fine Cakes By Zehra Inc. is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes. You will also be responsible for baking mixed dough and batters, training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervising baking personnel and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Draw up production schedules
  • Train staff
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Operate machinery
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
