About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Storkcraft. This role will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and maintaining work records and logs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve organisational objectives
  • Ensure efficient operation of computer equipment and machinery, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs, including tracking shipments and monitoring personnel workloads and locations
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
  • Follow-up on issues with work orders and track progress to resolution
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics and operations management, with experience in co-ordinating activities with multiple stakeholders. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, spreadsheet applications, and MS Office suite
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
