Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Growing Steps Children Centre Inc.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children of various ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that meet the needs of children and their families
  • Supervise and support staff, trainees, and volunteers in the delivery of child-care programs
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts
  • Encourage children to express their creativity and imagination through various activities
  • Observe and record children's progress and development, and communicate with parents and guardians as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Experience working with children of various ages and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
