About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load buspans and trays, and unload them when necessary.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Storage and Organization: Place dishes in storage areas and keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
