Job Summary

**Job Title:** Nurse B - Supportive Care Projects Coordinator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse B to join our team as a Supportive Care Projects Coordinator. As a key member of our Continuing Care and Seniors' Health department, you will be responsible for mentoring and leading quality improvement and risk management initiatives in assigned long-term care homes within the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Plan, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate projects and initiatives to improve quality of care and reduce risk in long-term care homes.
  • Mentor and lead quality improvement and risk management teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce adverse events.
  • Provide education and training to staff on quality improvement and risk management best practices.

**Requirements:**

  • Two (2) years of experience in long-term care.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Advanced research, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of leadership strategies and Microsoft Office Suite.
