About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at U need a Pita. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a secure and safe environment for our guests and staff, and be bondable.
Requirements
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks and have attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility and ability to work as a team player.
  • Experience: Will train, and a permanent position with 35 hours per week.
Language and Work Environment

The primary language of work is English, and the work environment is a fast-paced facilities setting.
