About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our Marketplace team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our cloud-based software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient cloud-based software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and consistency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
