At Interior Health Authority, we are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Talarico Place, a resident-centered care facility located in Castlegar, B.C. This part-time (0.59 FTE) position provides Occupational Therapy services at Talarico Place and Occupational Therapist services at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital located in Trail, B.C.

Talarico Place embodies a resident-centered philosophy designed to support residents' choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. The facility is attached to the Castlegar & District Community Health Centre and is divided into 3 wings, offering a range of private and semi-private rooms.

The Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) is a comprehensive healthcare facility providing core physician specialties, 24-hour emergency and trauma services, laboratory, acute and obstetrical care, inpatient psychiatry, and chemotherapy. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to residents/clients and/or their caregivers.

Operating within a client-centered approach, you will make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable residents/clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.
