About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst, Collections Strategy Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing digital communications strategies to maximize dollars collected and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for Canada Collections, while delivering on the Bank's credit loss and operations expense plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end communication strategies, from data analysis to identifying opportunities and monitoring results, to system configuration changes and deploying strategies into production.
  • Conduct rule changes, testing, and post-campaign validations following business requirements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of digital communication strategies, identifying actionable opportunities to address market and portfolio headwinds.
  • Produce monitoring and performance reports, measuring benefits in loss avoidance and cost to collect. Communicate results and generate recommendations with a focus on incremental profitability.
  • Conduct data analyses of customer behavior and effectiveness of collection treatments (SMS, email, IVR, and Live call). Recommend improvements to communication strategies to Canada Collections leadership team.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in managing data, completing analyses, operations, or marketing campaign designs.
  • Experience with analytical software such as R, Python, SAS, or SQL, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, pragmatically, and drive results.
  • Results-driven individual with a high level of curiosity and ability to dive into details without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Exceptional organization skills to prioritize, manage, and implement a variety of competing initiatives, on a concurrent or staggered basis.
  • A University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or Management Analytics (desired).
