About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Technician to join our team at Tech-Wood Building Components Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the development of engineering specifications and drawings, and participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations.
  • Design and Estimation: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates, and prepare engineering designs and drawings.
  • Supervision: Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
