Job Description

This Audiologist role is responsible for assessing and managing patients' hearing and balance disorders. You will work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, provide clinical guidance, and supervise students. Your leadership skills will be essential in coordinating patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' hearing and balance functions
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address hearing loss and balance dysfunction
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on hearing conservation, tinnitus management, and auditory rehabilitation
  • Serve as a resource for other healthcare professionals, offering guidance on audiological diagnosis and treatment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Master's degree in Audiology and be registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA). Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
