We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizza Hut. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to meet the expectations of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all customers receive excellent service and a positive dining experience.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standards.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action if necessary.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
