Job Title: Trailer Mechanic

Thistle Truck and Trailer is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with trailers, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Inspect trailers for damage or wear and tear, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Requirements:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a dusty, outdoors environment with dirty and noisy conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
