We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrical Infectious Disease Specialist to join our team at the Oak Tree Clinic, a leading clinic at BC Women's Hospital focusing on the care of women, children, and families living with HIV and other reproductive infectious diseases.

About the Clinic

The Oak Tree Clinic provides exceptional holistic care to over 1,000 individuals, including adults, children, and pregnant women. Our multidisciplinary team includes Infectious Diseases specialists, NPs, OBGYNs, Pediatricians, Psychiatrists, counsellors, outreach and nursing, social work, pharmacists, clerks, dieticians, and research associates. We serve as both an Infectious Diseases specialty clinic and provide primary care services for our longitudinal patients living with HIV, with an emphasis on women's health.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect clinical care for individuals living with HIV
  • Participate in interdisciplinary clinical rounds, educational rounds, and provide telephone support throughout the province
  • Teach learners and participate in research and clinical practice guideline creation
  • Collaborate with our provincial and national leaders, as well as world-class research teams to support patients
Qualifications

Successful candidates will have obtained fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Obstetrics and Gynecology, ideally along with subspecialty training in Infectious Diseases. Additional clinical experience with women's health and/or marginalized populations is welcome. Candidates must be eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia.
