About the Role

Napoleon is a leading manufacturer of home comfort products, and we're seeking a skilled Retail Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, and communicate this knowledge to customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, working closely with the Retail Sales Manager to achieve departmental goals.
  • Prepare and present quotes, sales orders, and invoices using our software system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct home pre-inspects and recommend suitable products or services to customers.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including submitting detailed pictures, layouts, and measure-ups for installs, and maintaining accurate customer files.
  • Represent Napoleon at trade shows, home shows, and special events, showcasing our products and services.
  • Maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing showroom, ensuring products are displayed in a presentable condition.
Requirements
  • Two years' experience in retail sales, with a preference for those with product knowledge in Fireplace, HVAC, and Grills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Proven negotiating skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel out of town as required and support varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
