Job Summary

FunctionAbility Rehabilitation Services is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in our Psychotherapy Trauma Program. As an Occupational Therapist in this role, you will work with individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges, such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on occupational analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Provide client-centered care, utilizing strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy interventions to promote client independence and participation in daily activities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and goals, and develop treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Requirements
  • University Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Minimum of 1 year of general OT mental health experience
  • Completion of at least one of the following courses: CBT, ACT, DBT
