KINGS AUTO SPA is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Your duties will include adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, as well as performing scheduled maintenance service. You will also be required to confirm findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace a unit. In addition, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing truck-trailer systems, and adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components as needed. You will also be required to perform tasks such as testing and adjusting units to specifications, and inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. You will be working in a workshop environment, and will be required to have a strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and be able to work overtime as required. You will also be required to have a reliability, team player, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, and hold a valid Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate. You will be required to work 35 to 40 hours per week, and will be required to speak English as a primary language. This is a permanent position, and you will be required to work in a green job environment that involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
