Job Title: Driver, Transport

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver, Transport to join our team at Kenan Courier and Logistics. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to transport goods and materials, while ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a vehicle to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate transportation routes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with dispatch, customers, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and information exchange.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in transportation or a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Language: English.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced transportation environment, with frequent travel and variable weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring regular lifting, bending, and standing.
