Job Title: Instructor - Mental Health and Addiction

Job Summary:

Camosun College is seeking a qualified Instructor to teach in our Interdisciplinary Mental Health and Addiction (IMHA) Program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health and addiction, as well as experience teaching adults in a college setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IMHA Trauma and Interpersonal Violence course
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with program goals and outcomes
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Contribute to program development and evaluation

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or professional equivalent in Child & Youth Care, Counselling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline
  • Minimum of five years' experience working in mental health and substance use services
  • Minimum of one year experience teaching adults in a college setting
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
