Geotechnical and Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team in this challenging role. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in geotechnical engineering principles and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
About the RoleThe primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting surface and subsurface site investigations, including borehole logging, sampling of soil and rock, and geological mapping;
- Coordinating and conducting field inspections of construction works and material testing of geotechnical materials;
- Preparing and writing proposals and technical reports;
- Conducting geotechnical engineering analysis;
- Supervising technicians and junior engineers;
- Managing project schedules and budgets.
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:
- A post-graduate degree in a Geo-Engineering discipline such as Geotechnical Engineering, Geo-Environmental Engineering, or Engineering Geology;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Geo-engineering field in Canada;
- Prior experience in consulting engineering or construction is considered an asset;
- A high level of proficiency with current geotechnical software applications;
- Strong technical, oral, and written communication skills;
- Exceptional analytical and project management skills.
