Job Title: Carpenter

WHITE MUD DRYWALL LTD. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials according to building codes and specifications.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Working Conditions:
  • Permanent employment.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language.
