We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Caldic North America.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Implementation of HACCP, GMP, and GFSI Programs: Develop and implement effective quality assurance and control programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Food Safety and Quality Requirements: Monitor and enforce adherence to food safety and quality protocols, including prerequisite programs, HACCP plans, CCP monitoring, and SQF code.
- Audit Activities: Conduct regular audits to verify implementation of quality systems, sanitation procedures, CIP, glass/hard plastics calibration, and other critical processes.
- Training and Development: Design, establish, and implement training programs for personnel to ensure they possess the necessary competencies to carry out their duties effectively.
- B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, or equivalent degree
- HACCP & SQF Training Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Able to self-manage and work independently
- Prior work experience in the food industry is an asset
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum
