Residential Care Assistant

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are passionate about providing high-quality care to our residents. As a Residential Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident suites, public areas, and support areas
  • Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry
  • Sort, wash, and dry linens according to approved procedures
  • Collect and remove trash, and maintain trash receptacles and collection areas
  • Assist Care Givers and Department Leaders with resident care when requested
Qualifications:
  • Desire to work with seniors
  • High School diploma / GED preferred
  • Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational, time management skills
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all community procedures and guidelines
