This Co-op or Intern Student opportunity will run from September to December 2024. You will gain experience with reviews, compilations, and corporate tax (not auditing).

Your Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement efficiently.
  • Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for various client sizes.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and respond effectively to their requests and suggestions.
  • Complete ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures.
  • Communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues.

Your Experience and Education
  • You are currently working towards a degree or diploma in accounting.
  • You are interested in long-term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team.
  • You may have experience or certifications with QuickBooks, Xero, and/or Sage.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
About This Opportunity

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. BDO offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous retirement plan.
