Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country, navigating challenging mountain routes, and working collaboratively with a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in driving on mountain routes, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with a two-person team or convoy to achieve common goals and ensure safe transportation.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures and regulations.
  • Tarping and Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by properly tarping and securing loads.
Certifications and Licenses
  • AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement: Hold a valid air brakes endorsement, demonstrating expertise in operating air brakes systems.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A): Possess a valid driver's license (Class 1 or A), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Record-Keeping
  • Driver Logbook: Maintain accurate and detailed records of driving hours, routes, and cargo information in a driver logbook.
  • Inspection Reports: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, documenting any issues or concerns in a detailed inspection report.
Transportation and Travel Experience
  • International Experience: Possess experience in international transportation, navigating diverse routes and regulations.
  • Long-Haul Experience: Demonstrate expertise in long-haul transportation, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods over extended distances.
Security and Safety
  • Valid Passport: Possess a valid passport, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for international travel.
  • Criminal Record Check: Undergo a thorough criminal record check, ensuring a clean and safe driving record.
  • Driving Record Check (Abstract): Possess a valid driving record check (abstract), demonstrating a safe and responsible driving history.
