Pacifica Housing Fund Development and Communications Manager

Job Summary:

Pacifica Housing is seeking a highly skilled Fund Development and Communications Manager to lead our organization's fundraising efforts and enhance our public presence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications, leading fundraising campaigns, and managing relationships with donors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Directly manage the Fund Development and Communications Coordinator, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure the objectives of the department and position are achieved.
  • Fund Development: Develop, oversee, and measure shorter-term and long-term fund development plans and goals, including campaigns and targeted cases for support, multiple sources of funds, and strategies for donor engagement.
  • Communications and Marketing: Execute a variety of communication and marketing activities, including supporting the implementation of Pacifica Housing's internal and external communications strategies, managing media relations, and developing key messaging in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post-secondary degree and/or advanced training in business, marketing, communications, or fund development, preferred CFRE designation or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in a management/supervisory role related to fund development, communications, and marketing, with a proven track record of success in planning and executing fundraising efforts, developing and implementing communications strategies, and supervising a team.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven knowledge and skills in donor and stakeholder relations, demonstrated experience and success in supervising a team, attention to detail in writing, editing, and reviewing key documents, and exceptional time management skills.
