About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team, based on a competitive estimated salary of $120,000 per year.

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting services to ensure compliance with internal and external accounting and reporting requirements and regulations.

You will also provide guidance and advice to our controllership and finance service team to improve performance and prepare financial reports for senior management.

Additionally, you will ensure periodic Risk and Control Matrix (RACM) compliance, support and liaise with Internal/External Auditors during SOX and Substantive audits, and continuously improve our processes with an innovative mindset by leveraging data analytics and digital solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, accounting certification CPA or equivalent.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) would be an asset.
  • Experience in preparing consolidated statement of cash flows is an asset.
  • Understanding of accounting for financial assets and liabilities is an asset.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including variance analysis capabilities.
  • Beneficial to have SAP experience.
