Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Design Engineer to join our team at DIGI Technologies International Inc. as a System Integration Specialist. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software, and other embedded software control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software, and other embedded software control systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that software solutions are innovative and effective.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software design and development, with a focus on system integration.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Certification.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, including cloud computing and cloud storage.
  • Knowledge of security software and best practices for secure software development.
  • Experience with Android and iOS development.
