Job Summary:The Commercial Operations Director will lead the sales and distribution strategy for the Prince George distribution center, overseeing sales, customer service, marketing equipment, and warehousing operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication to drive results.
Main Responsibilities:- Volume and Revenue Growth: Maximize volume and revenue in a defined area through direct store delivery go-to-market initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution, merchandising standards, and talent development.
- Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region, activating local and national marketplace initiatives to build brand development and maximize performance.
- Operations Excellence: Effectively lead delivery and merchandising operations, warehouse management, and labor relations with the Association.
- Talent Development: Develop, motivate, and lead a large team of employees, ensuring volume and revenue results while managing costs.
- Education: Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Business or a related field.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated people leadership capability with a commitment to coaching and development, five years of experience in a sales environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical and math skills, professional accomplishments reflecting self-motivation and initiative, solid leadership and interpersonal skills, demonstrated computer proficiency, and problem-solving abilities.
This role offers an estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, based on industry standards and market conditions in the region.
