Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Hubbards Medical Centre. As a locum physician, you will provide comprehensive family medicine care to the population of Hubbards, Chester, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
- Ensure appropriate workload and practice management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers within the practice and community to provide continuum of patient care.
- Provide care and coordination of community-based care, secondary, and tertiary level healthcare.
- Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
- Work towards same-day or next-day access for the practice population.
- Collaborate with other team members to best suit the community's health needs.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
- Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details.
- Part-time, locum position.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
