Job Title: Lead Machine Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Machine Operator to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our machines and ensuring the highest quality products are produced.

Responsibilities:
  • Review new production orders and report any issues that may impact production or quality.
  • Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and abilities.
  • Ensure all team members have the necessary training, equipment, and materials to perform their duties.
  • Keep the production supervisor informed of any changes or updates.
  • Monitor raw material requirements and report any shortages.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure products are being produced to quality standards.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in the plastic extrusion/film industry.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Standing for extended periods and climbing mezzanines frequently.
