Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at STATION HOUSE BAR AND GRILL DTR VENTURES LTD. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management:
    • You will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
    • You will also be responsible for managing cash flow, forecasting revenue and expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Financial Record Keeping:
    • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, financial statements, and journals.
    • You will reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
    • You will prepare various financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • You will ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, preparing and filing tax returns on time.

Personal Qualities:

  • We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • You should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Salary:

$70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
