At Smita Poddar, we are seeking a skilled Household Maintenance Professional to join our team. This is a permanent position working 32.5 hours per week with English as the primary language of communication.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable individual who can provide exceptional housekeeping services in a domestic setting. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent cleaning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They will also have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the property, including floors, furniture, and fixtures
  • Wash and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and empty trash containers
  • Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping duties
  • Clean windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a housekeeping role
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $35,000 and $45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a competitive salary range for a Household Maintenance Professional in the industry.
