About the Role:
- Implement exercise and education programs for seniors to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being.
- Develop and maintain progress reports and metrics on participants, providing data-driven insights to inform care decisions.
- Monitor residents while utilizing exercise equipment, promoting safe use and proper infection control practices.
- Support the development and implementation of programs and objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collect and analyze data to inform reporting and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in senior care and rehabilitation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Kinesiology, diploma in PTA/OTA, or related post-secondary education.
- First Aid (CPR & AED) Certification.
- Experience working with seniors and group programming is an asset.
- Reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.
- Mandatory requirement: Full vaccination against COVID-19, as per the Ministry of Long-term Care and client sites.
