Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Cycle Instructor to join our team at Life Time. As a Cycle Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and results-driven indoor cycling classes to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high-energy indoor cycling classes that cater to diverse fitness levels and goals
  • Develop and maintain a strong rapport with members, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure classes are innovative and effective
  • Collaborate with other fitness professionals to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
  • Meet attendance and administrative requirements, including accurate record-keeping and timely communication

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., exercise science, kinesiology) preferred
  • 1 year of experience as a fitness instructor, with a focus on indoor cycling or group fitness
  • CPR and AED certification within 3 months of hire
  • Nationally recognized Indoor Cycle Instructor, Training, or Coaching Certification (e.g., Schwinn Cycling, Stages, Mad Dogg Spinning, Les Mills)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform exercises specific to the assigned class

Preferred Qualifications

  • Group Exercise Certification (e.g., National Association of Sports Medicine, American Council of Exercise, American Fitness Aerobic Association)
