Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining outdoor sports and recreation activity sites across various locations.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of these facilities, including signage, grounds, and equipment. You will work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance the overall experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update all signage on activity sites
  • Operate maintenance equipment to build, dig, and clean activity sites
  • Replace culverts and repair trails as needed
  • Operate transport vehicles for work done on activity sites
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Some high school education and relevant experience in landscaping
  • A valid driver's license (Quebec)
  • Experience in constructing and maintaining outdoor sports and recreation activity sites
  • Proficiency in operating groundskeeping equipment and tools
  • Familiarity with software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, email, and internet browsing
Language Requirements

Bilingualism is essential, with a strong proficiency in French.
