About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Physician to join our team at Capilano Medical Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, ensuring comprehensive care and treatment.
  • Prescribe and Administer: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, taking into account patients' medical histories and current conditions.
  • Healthcare Advice: Provide patients with expert advice on healthcare and wellness, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Coordinate and manage primary patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Acute Care Management: Provide acute care management, responding promptly to patients' urgent medical needs.
  • Counselling and Support: Offer counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues, promoting overall well-being.
Requirements
  • Eligibility: Eligible for professional liability insurance, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Work Term: Permanent position, offering stability and security.
  • Work Language: English language proficiency required.
